Atmosphere

Where Learning Meets Adventure At CMAS, we believe education should be a joy for both children and parents. Whether your child is drawn to the rhythm of music, the creativity of art, or the logic of computers, we offer a path for everyone. Our mission is to bridge the gap between curiosity and career, helping every child advance their goals in a fun, hands-on environment.

An Inclusive Space for Discovery The CMAS Activity Center provides a warm, welcoming home for art, music, and science. Our learning labs and workshops are designed to be inclusive, offering a supportive space for young people and those with special needs to explore their interests. Have a group? We invite you to schedule an appointment to experience the excitement of learning together!

Volunteerism

1. The Role of Volunteers

The organization is entirely run by volunteers. They are the backbone of the center, assisting with workshops, programs, and daily operations to ensure a growing community environment for families.

2. Becoming an "Official Volunteer"

To maintain a safe environment for all children, CMAS distinguishes between general interest and "Official Volunteers."

  • Background Checks: Because safety is the top priority, all individuals wishing to become an Official Volunteer must undergo a background check.

  • Supervision: CMAS ensures that an Official Volunteer is always on staff during operating hours to oversee activities and safety protocols.

3. How to Start

If you are interested in joining their team, you can initiate the process through the following steps:

  • Request a Check: You can directly request a background check to begin your path toward becoming an Official Volunteer.

  • Contact Options: You can reach out to them via their Volunteer page, email them at info@cmaslakecounty.org, or call 707-295-1030.

  • Online Form: There is a "Get in Touch" Volunteer Now section on their website where you can submit your interest.
