Youth Art Programs

Lake County is proud to announce a new project encouraging youth artists from 4th to 12th grade to create art in public places. The theme for this project is the wildlife of Lake County. Students will have the opportunity to research and create designs that reflect this theme. This project is free of cost for families, and we encourage memberships and volunteers to help with the cost of programs and operating expenses. Join us in celebrating the creativity of our youth and the beauty of Lake County's wildlife.

Beautification Project

“The Beautification Project, launched by CMAS in 2017, was a great success. We recruited students from the Konocti School District,  With the help of Woodland College, a classroom was provided for them to create art.
This project aimed to give youth art experiences and showcase youth art in public places in Clearlake. With the involvement of parents, students, and local merchants, we are proud to be the first organization to place 14 murals in the city of Clearlake. We are honored to have contributed to the beautification of our community through this project and appreciate the community support and cooperation.”

The project starts June 10th from 8:30 am to noon Monday through Thursday until the end of Summer.

Join us in the summer of 2024 for an exciting opportunity to beautify Clearlake! We're recruiting students to create a new mural project on 40th Street, with the "Under the Lake" theme. This project aims to cover up the blight in the area and provide a platform for young artists to showcase their talent. Let's gather together to make a positive impact in our community!
